The first Thornbridge craft beers were produced in 2005 using a 10-barrel brewery, housed in the grounds of Thornbride Hall. The beers have gained considerable success with over 190 CAMRA and SIBA awards being won. This year in October, Thornbridge have won Silver for Jaipur - SIBA Midlands Beer Competition which was a huge celebration.
Latest news: Thornbridge have decided to bring back 'Otter's Tears' due to popular demand - flavoured pale ale.
Jaipur - A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.
Brother Rabbit - Lemon zest in colour with a clean, hoppy aroma. A resinous finish and some bitterness.
Wild Swan - Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.
Jaywick - Starts with a powerful, zesty grapefruit hop flavour but followed by floral rose petals then a smooth malty taste that balances the sharp citrus flavours.
Kipling - Golden blonde beer with an exquisite passionfruit, gooseberry and mango aroma. An initial sweetness and full body are balanced by a lasting grapefruit-like bitter finish.
Wild Raven - The name’s an oxymoron and the beer is complex and stunning. Five malts and six hops combine to provide bitter chocolate flavours with dark roasted fruits.
