The tastiest dishes and Ale`s in Derby

The Five Lamps real ale pub in Derby would like to draw the attention of all current and would be patrons of our establishment to the diverse range of traditional and highly nourishing food we are currently promoting on our menu.

At the Five Lamps pub, we are renowned for our extensive range of local and nationally produced cask ales. As a CAMRA endorsed pub in the Derbyshire area, we are proud of our heritage and the recognition we continue to receive for our comprehensive line up of real ales. However, to complement our fine range of beverages, did you know we also cook a range of traditional pub fare?

We have a varied menu that consists of everything from pub favourites to one pot dishes, a classics selection, along with our light bites, healthy fish dishes and a range of specials. Whilst our menu may not be extensive as many restaurants, we still believe you can’t beat a good, old fashioned traditional pub meal that can be washed down with a pint of real ale, or any drink of your choosing for that matter.

All our ingredients are sourced locally and are carefully crafted into what we believe are some of the tastiest dishes on offer in the Derbyshire area, by our own in-house kitchen team. At the Five Lamps pub, we offer a range of dishes we are sure will suit all tastes.

Just taking our Classics Menu as an example, it plays host to our Hunters Chicken, Roast Ham and eggs or our 10oz Gammon Steak and eggs, all served with twice cooked chips and peas, or alternatively, why not try our prised omelette, cooked just the way you like it and coming with an array of toppings of your choice, along with a healthy side salad? These are just some of the options available at our warm, welcoming establishment where you are guaranteed a warm smile, a fantastic experience, some delicious and a really good pint of CAMRA approved real ale.

Obviously, and this goes without saying, we are sure you can now see just some of the many benefits we offer all our guests, as they wile away a couple of fun-filled hours in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Can you really ask for any more on a beautiful autumnal day?
