As a traditional pub, we believe in generating a homely, welcoming atmosphere for all our clients. That means good food, good drink and good company.
As a local pub for local people, we pride ourselves on being able to provide as fine a choice of locally sourced real ales as possible. In fact, the Five Lamps in Derby regularly features highly in the Derby Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) guide due to the quality and choice of real ales we regularly have on tap for CAMRA or real ale enthusiasts.
At the Five Lamps pub, we currently have 14 real ales on tap, including a number of favourites from local Derbyshire brewers including; Five Lamps Ale from the Derby Brewing Company, the Jaipur from the Thornbridge Brewery and Chatsworth Gold, brought to you by the team behind Peak Ales. For a full list of current real ales the Five Lamps pub regularly carries, please see our real ale list.
We also know that everyone who enjoys a nice relaxing drink, also enjoys a tasty morsel, which is why here at the Five Lamps Derby, we also offer a delicious range of food to whet any appetite and line the stomach to enjoy more of our finest range of nationally and locally sourced beers.
Just like with our range of fine cask ales, we are also firm believers in sourcing the finest quality local ingredients that are then lovingly shaped and crafted into delicious traditional meals by our own in-house kitchen team of Hazel and Tam.
