Peak Ales opened in 2005 in converted, former derelict farm buildings on the Chatsworth estate. The brewery supplies around 30 local outlets and selected distributions. Peak Ales also supply seasonal beers.
Latest News: Peak ales are having their very first beer festival; Friday 11th - Saturday 12th September. This includes a massive 17 real ales, and also a range of real ciders. This all takes place at The Lathkil Hotel.
Swift Nick - This is a traditional English session bitter, with a fruit and hop aroma. There are balanced flavours of malt and hops leading to a dry bitter finish.
Bakewell Best Bitter - A robust amber coloured ale, It is dry and firmly bitter, with some roasted malt flavours and plenty of grassy hops.
Chatsworthh Gold - This is a golden beer made with honey from the Chatsworth Estate. The delicate sweetness is well balanced with bitterness from Goldings and Fuggles hops.
DPA - DPA is a higher gravity pale ale, it is a distinctive and refreshing beer that is well hopped with Goldings for a smooth and slightly sweeter taste with a hint of spice.
